We are currently seeking an Technical Associate - Drupal Developer, in our Ottawa, ON location. Please note, relocation and / or travel may be required.

 

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):

Our program is implementing a new portal for the e-procurement system (EPS). The portal is based on the Drupal 8 content management system using the WxT Distribution. The Portal team is tasked with Drupal 8 Development for the site.  The Drupal Developer will be assigned to development tasks which will enhance the existing portal site. 

 

The roles and responsibilities of the Drupal Developer include:

Custom development of modules

Use of contributed modules

Enhancement to the theme

Drupal Site Building Activities

Documentations

Qualifications:

Candidates should have educational programming project related experience (preferred.

Content Management System tech related projects experience (desired).

Programming – Programmer who can write well-structured programs with proper concepts & methods (required). 

Technical understanding – Good grasp of coding standards & technical concepts (required).

Certifications – If any, related to programming.

Acquia Drupal 8 Developer certification (desired)

Basic PHP & OOPs PHP courses or training (required)

Participation in Hackathon/Coding programs (desired)

Skills

HTML/HTML5 (required)

CSS/CSS3/LESS/SASS (preferred)

JS/JQuery (required)

PHP/OOP PHP (required)

MySQL/PostgreSQL database. (preferred)

Good English & French communication skills (preferred)

Security Clearance:

Candidate should have or have the ability to obtain Security Clearance (Enhanced Reliability Status) from Government of Canada or the candidate should be a resident of Canada for 5 continuous years

Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents preferred

 

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):

Our Program is implementing a cloud based SaaS e-procurement system (EPS) using SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, and ServiceNow.

 

The roles and responsibilities of the Technical Associate - Azure Developer are:

Knowledge on Public Cloud Platforms

Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and the ability to support multiple connectors to various identity stores.

Development background and Familiarity with programming languages and automation using scripts.

Understanding of current regulatory environment and related implications to identity management, security and audit compliance

Strong communication skills to promote identity and access management concepts and solutions across the organization.

Assist in developing, planning, implementing and monitoring security controls and processes as they relate to identity and access management.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 0-2 years of experience on Active Directory, LDAP and the ability to support multiple connectors to various identity stores.

Must possess a working understanding of computer forensic techniques and methodologies.

 

Security Clearance:

Candidate should have or have the ability to obtain Security Clearance (Enhanced Reliability Status) from Government of Canada or the candidate should be a resident of Canada for 5 continuous years
